The Atlanta Falcons appear to be heading into Thursday with the opportunity to select the first defensive player in the NFL draft, but there doesn't seem to be a unanimous mindset as to who that top guy actually is.

While there's been weeks, even months, attaching Dallas Turner to the Falcons, there's been a recent push for Laiatu Latu to be that selection. NFL Films analyst Greg Cosell is the most recent to share complements upon Latu's readiness to perform immediately.

"I think Latu is the most toolsy edge-rusher in the draft, very refined," says Greg Cosell. "He reminded me of T.J. Watt coming out of Wisconsin. Similar build, similar way he moved, not T.J. Watt now, but Latu stylistically is similar."
