As the Atlanta Falcons continue to prepare for their season opener on Sunday when they host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, they have begun to provide updates on several players who have been dealing with injuries throughout training camp, including Darnell Mooney (shoulder), who was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, and rookie Jalon Walker, who had been dealing with "a couple nagging things," according to head coach, Raheem Morris, who gave a positive update on the edge rusher.
"I wouldn't expect a pitch count, I would expect this guy to go out there and be full go," Morris told 92-9 The Game's Dukes and Bell on Wednesday as he joined the afternoon duo following practice and explained the team was purposely "over cautious" in order to have Walker back to form for Sunday's game.
"He's got those things right, he stayed with his mental plan, he was able to get back out there on the grass and able to go show production and be able to go out there and get better and better every time he went out there and now he's probably at the highest level since I've since he's been here and that's a good thing and that's a good thing for all of us," Morris said of Walker.
