The Atlanta Falcons have a lot of questions heading in to the 2024 season, mostly on defense. It is still unclear who the starting cornerback will be opposite A.J. Terrell, or how the linebackers will be rotated, even who the starting edge rushers will be. On the offensive side of the ball, however, most position starters are pretty clear, except one: wide receiver.
The only thing that we know for sure is that Drake London will suit up as the number one wide receiver on the depth chart, but after him is still quite unclear. The biggest reason for this has been the play of Ray-Ray McCloud thus far in training camp. It is widely assumed that Darnell Mooney will be the number two receiver behind Drake London, but McCloud is doing everything that he can to make the Falcons coaching staff believe otherwise. Andy Bunker and Randy McMichael discuss Falcons position battles as they wrap up their first joint practice with the Miami Dolphins.
