It looks like the Falcons know which quarterback they'll be facing to open the 2024 NFL season.
Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin announced this afternoon that Russell Wilson be the starting QB for the Steelers over Justin Fields as they prepare to start the season against Atlanta.
Wilson missed the first week of Steelers training camp while recovering from a calf injury, and Fields assumed the majority of the first-team reps. Both QBs were acquired this off-season for Pittsburgh, Russell via free agency, and Fields via trade.
