Audacy.com NFL insider Ross Tucker joined Dukes & Bell to talk some NFL and Tucker talked about the improvements he's seen from the Falcons and what's impressed him about them after three weeks under new Head Coach Arthur Smith.
Tucker talked about the resiliency he’s seen from the Falcons in the first three weeks of the season.
“Not to get all Cliche with you guys, I feel like they’ve gotten better each week, I mean that was not an easy spot for them last Sunday going against the Giants team that had ten days rest, was coming off a pretty good offensive performance against Washington and it was Eli Manning ring of honor day,” Tucker said. “That’s a brutal, brutal loss for the Giants and what the Falcons have shown me is not only have they gotten a little bit better each week, which is what you want with a new regime and head coach, but they are resilient.”

“They battled back against the Bucs to make that a game in the second half, they came back to beat the Giants, I think it really speaks well to Arthur Smith and the culture he is building. Even though they’re a team that maybe not a lot is expected from them and even in these games where, ok looks like they’re going to lose here, there is no give up or quit in those guys. I’ve been very impressed with what I’ve seen from the Falcons these last couple of games in particular, especially after the Eagles just dominated them the way they did.”
