The Atlanta Falcons were a major topic of conversation Tuesday night. The team posted a video of Coach Raheem Morris meeting the team in person for the first of what will be many conversations to usher in the 2024 campaign.
Morris’ ability to command the room with confidence made the video go viral on social media.
Morris preached accountability and the promise of progress for a team that hasn’t made the playoffs in six seasons. Carl Dukes stated on Wednesday that he’s not surprised by the video at all, but was a bit taken aback by the reaction. Why? Because Dukes feels Morris had already proved himself to by the type of vocal leader shown in the video and that shouldn’t be a shock to anyone that’s who he is.
It’s been a raucous offseason for the Falcons after singing Kirk Cousins to play quarterback and reshaping their coaching staff. If Coach Morris can deliver on his promises made in that viral video the team will be hunting for playoff victories once again.
