With the reports Tuesday that the Falcons could be facing a complete rebuild on top of already looking for a new general manager and head coach, you have to wonder what a new GM-head coach combo is looking for from this team heading into next season.

The Falcons showed some signs of life last week in their dominant win over the Minnesota Vikings. But is that what the new to-be-determined leadership wants to see?


Does going on a run and having a strong finish to the season make things more attractive for a new head coach and GM?

What’s more desirable to begin a rebuild, a team that closes (hypothetically) 5-3 or a team with the third- or fourth-overall draft pick?

John and Hugh chat about what can get the team headed back in the right direction quickest and what would most draw candidates towards the Falcons job.

"I would probably be happier with a bunch of draft picks because we have the opportunity to grow together," says Hugh Douglas. "To make this job more attractive you have to give the GM the ability to make those moves."
