While the Philadelphia Eagles’ offense looked very dangerous last Friday in Brazil in their season opener scoring 34 points to beat the Green Bay Packers 34-29, Jalen Hurts still has a glaring weakness that the Atlanta Falcons’ defense could take advantage of on Monday night, and earlier today former Atlanta Falcons quarterback and now analyst for the Atlanta Falcons Radio Network Dave Archer told The Morning Shift what that weakness is.

“From what I can see on tape he is forcing the ball into coverage. He’s making decisions to try to shove the ball into those three big time receivers.” Archer said

Dave also went on to talk about how Hurts is probably going to give the Falcons’ defensive backs some opportunities to come up with some interceptions on Monday night.

“He’s willing to throw the ball into coverage, so you gotta be ready to catch the football when it comes your way, but you know just go play your game he’ll probably throw one or two that you could potentially steal.” Dave said.

In Jalen Hurts’ first 45 games of his NFL career, 34 of those games being starts, he threw 19 interceptions, and now in his last 18 games Jalen Hurts has thrown 17 interceptions.

If the Falcons can pressure Jalen up front, and if Jimmy Lake and the wise veterans in the backfield in Jessie Bates, Justin Simmons, and AJ Terrell can disguise some of their defensive looks and confuse Hurts a little bit, the Falcons defense could be in for a big day.
