On Tuesday, the Atlanta Falcons help the introductory press conference for newly appointed president of football, Matt Ryan, who answered questions in regards to his new role with the franchise he once led as their starting quarterback.

Following the Tuesday’s press conference, 92-9 The Game’s Carl Dukes and Mike Bell shared their thoughts on some of the answers Ryan provided, particularly in regards to his decision on the head coach and general manager, which he stated he will make with Arthur Blank’s “approval”.

“I heard Matt say, he’s going to hire the coach, he’s going to hire the GM. That’s what I heard,” Dukes said as he explained why Ryan’s comments lead him to believe Ryan will have final say in the hiring of the team’s head coach and general manager. However, for Bell, he believes Ryan’s comments insinuate Blank would have the finale say.

“Arthur will ultimately say yes or no,” Bell said as he made his case for believing Ryan may decide on who the candidates should be, however Blank will ultimately have to sign off on the decision. “To me that means Arthur [Blank] still makes the decision,” Bell said.
