Early Saturday afternoon reports started to come from Philadelphia that Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown felt tightness in his hamstring during a Friday practice and was questionable for Monday Night Football. Sunday morning the Eagles officially ruled him out. The Eagles still have a potent offense without Brown, but it might adjust the Falcons defensive game plan a little bit.

Saquon Barkley is coming off an Eagles debut in which he rushed for 109 yards and 2 TDs and also scored a receiving touchdown. Devonta Smith, who will step into the WR1 shoes with Brown out, had 84 yards in Week 1, while A.J. Brown had 119 yards and a TD.

QB Jalen Hurts had some turnover issues in Week 1 throwing two interceptions and fumbling twice, losing one of those. If the Falcons can limit Barkley and force Hurts to beat them down his top receiver, that might be the best path to a road victory.
