Senior NFL writer for Sports Illustrated Albert Breer joined Dukes & Bell to give us the latest on the Julio Jones situation and what the team could realistically get for the aging star wide receiver?

When asked about the compensation the team could get for Jones if he is traded.

“I don’t think it’s going to be a one, when teams called during the draft that was the asking price. They’ve made it pretty clear to other teams they’re not going to give him away but given the contract situation, his age and his injury history I don’t know where the first round pick comes from,” Breer said. “Now that could change, maybe somebody has an injury, maybe somebody goes into the spring and thru OTA’s and the receiver group doesn’t look like what they thought it might on paper, things could change over time but I think at this point it’s looking pretty doubtful they get a first round pick for him.”

“I think they’d move him for a second, maybe you get creative and throw an active player in there or something else but I think at this point if somebody came with a two for Julio, I think the Falcons would very seriously consider it and maybe move him for that.”
