The Atlanta Hawks made a rare in-season hire as they brought in former Utah Jazz head coach Quin Snyder to lead the team. Quin's on a five-year deal and he's set to make his debut Tuesday with the Hawks riding a two-game winning streak.
Atlanta Hawks general manager Landry Fields joined John Fricke and Robb Tribble on The Morning Show and detailed what role Snyder will play in his first game coaching the team tonight.
"I don't think tonight there will be a significant amount of difference. There definitely will be some," says Fields. "I think the presence you will see on the sidelines, I think we're all going to see a difference in posture and gravitas and how players are going to interact with him in the moment."
The Hawks have 21 games remaining this season and surely Snyder's role will increase as he spends more time with the team and goes through some practices. But tonight won't look vastly different from how the team has been in recent games.
