The Atlanta Hawks lost two straight games over the weekend putting their playoff hopes on shaky ground.
The Hawks also learned they'll be without forward John Collins at least through the All-Star break after he suffered a right sprained ankle in Friday's loss to the San Antonio Spurs.
Have the expectations for the Hawks changed? Should we just keep our fingers crossed they make a play-in game at this point?
The Midday Show with Andy and Randy reacted to the Hawks losses and to say they are disappointed is an understatement.
"Honestly I don't know if I've ever been more disappointed in a team than this Hawks team this season in terms of what the expectation was and the excitement and the enthusiasm headed into the year," Andy Bunker said.
It's no longer about injury or players out due to Covid--it's about not playing good basketball.
"When you're a fan of a team, you kind of want to convince yourself that it's not as bad as maybe it is. No, it's as bad as it is."
"I don't know how you can continue to have performances that lead your coach to say 'we weren't emotionally in the building.'"
