Hawks Game 1 loss proves stars will decide series

The Hawks dropped Game 1 of their first-round series to the New York Knicks, 113–102. While four bench players saw the floor, they combined for just 13 points, compared to 20 from the Knicks’ reserves. The bigger issue, though, was the lack of production from Atlanta’s key contributors: Jalen Johnson finished with just three assists, and Nickeil Alexander-Walker needed 17 shots to score 17 points.
