With the 2023 NBA Draft complete, teams have already made some drastic moves around the league. We have seen a shift especially in the Eastern Conference. The Celtics and Wizards started the off-season with a bang with the most recent move of Kristaps Porzingis to the Boston Celtics, and the Wizards trading Chris Paul, acquiring Jordan Poole, as well as trading their star in Bradley Beal. These recent trades are leaving Hawks fans wondering what is the move for the Hawks?

John Fricke from the weekend show said, “What are we doing here? We’re doing something right? Siakam move or Zion Williamson Move… there is a big move coming right?” These are questions all Hawks fans are asking. You have a super star in Trae Young, what will the Hawks do to add to that and capitalize on this window? We don’t know what that big move will be, but the anticipation and expectations are certainly there.
We have seen teams become very aggressive very early already this off-season. Most noticeably, the Phoenix Suns trading for Bradley Beal, and now the Warriors trading for Chris Paul. The east has been a tough conference and race to the top since LeBron James left his reign over the Eastern Conference. If the Hawks want to be at the top of this race, a move is certainly what the Hawks need.
