USC Freshman Bronny James, who had previously announced that he would enter the transfer portal, announced on Friday morning that he would also be declaring for the 2024 NBA Draft. While his draft-stock is in question after a freshman season that got off to a slow start due to health concerns, if drafting Bronny would also secure you the services of LeBron James for a season or two, it might be worth it.

The Hawks are looking to find a way to build around Trae Young or Dejounte Murray, and LeBron has seemingly it public knowledge that he'd like to play with Trae Young. If bringing Bronny to Atlanta would get LeBron to Atlanta, would LeBron than do what he's done everywhere else and get other players to also come play for the Hawks?

While Bronny James doesn't currently project as a top pick, scouts have routinely talked about his defensive abilities and potential to grow as an outside scorer.
