The Atlanta Hawks are just a few days away from playing in their first playoff game since 2017. The Hawks take on the New York Knicks on Sunday at 7pm.
There will be a lot of eyeballs on this series because the Knicks haven't been in the playoffs since 2013. They both ended the season with a 41-31 record. So, on paper, these teams look evenly matched which should make for a good series.
Four time NBA champion, Horace Grant, joined the Jon Chuckery show to talk about how this matchup could play out. "It's going to be one of the most competitive series of the playoffs" Grant said. Even though there are lot of national NBA analyst picking the Knicks to get out of the first round, Grant remains convicted about what the Hawks are capable of. "I look for this series to go seven games, with the Hawks pulling it out."
