They have about 44.3 million in cap space and they have the number six overall pick in this year's draft as well. There is one way that the Hawks could ensure that they are in the top 8 at the end of the season. They have to be better on defense.

If there isn't a trade for the Hawks to make with the 6th overall pick then they have some options. One of them is to take a guy who can guard really well.
