Trae Young's infamous bow at Madison Square Garden feels like a long time ago both in length and time since the squad was represented in the playoffs. On Wednesday night, however, that feeling was renewed as the Hawks took care of the Knicks at home and Young ushered New York fans out of the building on the mic during his postgame interview.

Young is off to one of his best starts of his career. Through the first nine contests of the season he is averaging nearly 24 points and 11 assists per game. He will now be counted on as the true leader of the franchise after the team traded away his back court mate Dejounte Murray to the Pelicans this offseason.

The team is undergoing a period of transition and growth after Murray's departure and the addition of the No. 1 overall pick Zaccharie Risacher, who had a career night vs New York by pouring in 33 points.
