Trae Young, along with the rest of his Hawks teammates, held exit interviews Friday with the media. Among the questions directed at Young, to nobody's surprise, was if he wanted to stay in Atlanta. Some might hear his response as saying yes, and some might hear it as saying no.
Trae Young's response to being asked about staying in Atlanta:
"Obviously I want to be here, I mean, I want to be here, but I want to win too. I wanna be here, I wanna win Championships here and do that, but I want to win."
It appears the question that Trae Young needs to ask himself is does he trust the front office and ownership to add the pieces needed to compliment his play style to be able to win with the Hawks, or is that too much to ask and he feels like the best thing for him would be to seek championships with another front office in a different city.
