As NBA action resumes tonight following the All-Star break, all eyes continue to be on the standings, with most attention being paid to who will most likely end up with the number one overall pick in the upcoming draft, with the Atlanta Hawks currently having two first-round picks and currently a two percent chance to land the first pick of the draft.

I have to tell you guys right now, the guy I’m not getting is at Kansas,” 92-9 The Game’s Carl Dukes said as he explained why Kansas Jayhawks’ star, Darryn Peterson would not be his choice with the first pick of the draft after he appeared to check himself out of the Jayhawks 81-69 win over Oklahoma State, playing just 18 minutes and finishing with 23 points.

“The ideal Mike that you can not even show up for your team in the second half because you were cramping,” Dukes continued as he continued to express his concern with Peterson missing several games for reported illness or minor injury.

“He’s missed 11 of 26 games, he is one of five freshmen in the country that is averaging 20 points or more per game when he plays and oh, he’s missed a game with the flu, he’s taking himself out of games with cramps, he has also had an ankle injury, he had a hammy. This guy is purposely missing games and what I’m telling you is even if we get the first overall pick, don’t screw it up,” Dukes said in regards to Peterson.
