The Atlanta Hawks have a big hill to climb. That hill is Trae Young's right foot. They have to somehow come up with a magic potion to fix their star player before tipoff Tuesday night.

Young was injured at the end of the third quarter on an inbound play, and after an MRI, has been diagnosed with a bone bruise in his right foot. The question now comes is whether or not Trae Young will play or not. Chris Kirschner, of The Athletic, joined the Jon Chuckery show to discuss Young's availability. "It would be a surprise to see him not go" Kirschner said.


It goes without saying that the Hawks being without Young would spell the end of their playoff run. Young is listed as questionable for game four. Interim head coach Nate McMillan has a very tall task ahead of him even if Young plays. The bigger question that will need to be answered is who is going to make up for some of Young’s production; because no one should believe that he will be full strength.
