Terrell Thomas from TheseUrbanTimes.com joined The Sam & Greg Show to talk about our Atlanta Hawks. With the Atlanta Hawks on the precipice of a playoff berth, many have questions on how this young team will respond. One player that many have questions about, including Sam Crenshaw, is second year two-way player De’Andre Hunter. Hunter injured his right knee on January 29, 2021 against the Wizards.

There has been speculation that Hunter may play in the last four games heading into the playoffs. Crenshaw asked Thomas what he thought that Hunter could bring to the team coming off of a knee injury going into the playoffs. Thomas thinks that Hunter could bring a strong defensive presence to the team. He also thinks that teams do not have much tape on Hunter which would make it difficult to scout him in return giving the Hawks a slight advantage in the playoffs. Thomas says that Hunter is the teams’ best on ball defender and could be very vital in the playoffs.
