Atlanta United starts their season tomorrow in Columbus against the defending champs, it's a very difficult opener, but whether the result is a win, a draw, or a loss, Atlanta United Broadcaster Mike Conti cautions about drawing conclusions about the team based just on one result.
Columbus, on thier way to a title last season, eliminated Atlanta United in the first round of the MLS Plyoffs, but it did take them three games to do so, winning both games played at thier home stadium.
Mike Conti also was quick to point out that Atlanta United's best seasons have come when they lost thier opening game and some of the worst seaosns have come when they lkicked off the campaign with a win.
