Berkmar edges Norcross 54-52 in region battle

There was a class 7A showdown in Gwinnett County Tuesday, as #4 Berkmar visited #6 Norcross. The Patriots held a slim first half lead before Malique Ewin was fouled as he banked home a short jumper, and Berkmar led 24-19 at the half. Ewin, an Ole Miss commit , finished with 19 points. Norcross rallied late to Patriots lead to 52-51 with 17 second to play, but Berkmar hung on for the 54-52 https://win.It was the Patriots second win over Norcross the season and improved their record to 13-4. Berkmar plays Meadowcreek this Friday .. Norcross slips to 14-5 for the season . The Blue Devils will face Dunwoody this Friday.
