The Braves are finally back in Atlanta and will host the Marlins in their home opener on Friday, to start a six game homestand and being back in familiar surroundings and seeing familiar faces, may be just what the doctor ordered to help them snap their seven-game losing streak to start the season.

Off to an 0-7 start, the Braves’ struggles at the plate have been at the center of attention hitting a combined .151 with 68 strikeouts and 33 hits and just four homeruns in a stretch that also featured 29 consecutive scoreless innings.

And while disappointing to see a franchise which was a preseason favorite to be the one team who could derail the Dodgers’ title defense, Steak Shapiro believes Braves’ fans will still show up in full support on Friday and provide the energy the team needs to turn things around.

“The Braves have built so much loyalty and good faith through Braves’ Country, so they’re going to be fine,” Shapiro said as he and Sandra Golden shared their thoughts on why they believe simply getting back home after being gone for nearly two months, may be just what the Braves need for a jump start.

“The crowd will be sensational this weekend every single day. This home stand is going to have unbelievable crowds,” Shapiro continued, however noted should the Braves fall short in their efforts to pick up some wins, it may be tough for fans to continue having a positive outlook for the season.
