As the 2023 Major League Baseball season heads into the final stretch, you would be hard pressed to find anyone that would deny the Atlanta Braves line up is by far at the top league in production. To date, the Braves lead the Majors in home runs with 231, runs with 700, RBI with 676, OPS at .847 and sit in second with 1,122 hits behind the Rangers, a stat line that seemingly backs 92-9 The Game’s Jon Chuckery belief that a major contribution to the Braves’ offensive success is the production of the bottom of the order.

“I think this has been the low key thing that has been really one of the keys, just how good the seven, eight and nine hitters have produced for this lineup,” Chuckery told Gabe Burns of the Atlanta Journal Constitution on Tuesday as they discussed the Braves during their conversation.
Burns had no hesitation in agreeing with the evening host, adding that “this lineup is unbelievable” and while he believes that most of the national baseball audience would more than likely agree, he would go on to tell Chuckery considers the Atlanta offense, “truthfully, one of the best lineups in modern baseball history,”.

As their conversation continued, Burns would go on to say that he believes the Braves have “so many options” in their lineup and that with “the amount of power that this team has up and down, there’s no break for any pitcher. It’s an impressive group,” Burns said and concluded that his expectation is for Atlanta to make “another deep postseason run”.
