The Dallas Cowboys have found their replacement for Tyron Smith.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Cowboys agreed to terms with 40-year-old offensive tackle Jason Peters on Monday, three days after he had visited the team for a workout.

Peters, who was a free agent after spending last season with the Chicago Bears, is a 17-year veteran and future Hall of Fame tackle with nine Pro Bowls and two First Team All-Pro honors. Most of his success came with NFC East rival Philadelphia Eagles, where he spent 11 seasons and won a Super Bowl in 2017.
Peters’ Pro Bowl days may be behind him, but he has still shown to be a reliable tackle, playing 15 games for the Bears last year and ranking 20th at the position by Pro Football Focus.
Peters' career credentials are similar to Tyron Smith, who was coming off of his eighth Pro Bowl season before sustaining a hamstring injury in training camp.
With Smith out, the Cowboys were working first-round pick Tyler Smith at left tackle in recent practices but Peters brings a veteran presence and will likely be used as a swing tackle for the team as they look to solidify their offensive line.
