The Atlanta Falcons last won four straight games in 2019 and have a chance to match that on Sunday if they can pick up the win over the Seattle Seahawks. More importantly, a Falcons’ victory Sunday would allow them to improve to 5-2 on the season, which Steak Shapiro and Sandra Golden agreed would change the talk about the franchise from national media.
“You are now in a different conversation. You’re in the conversation about home playoff games, you’re in a conversation about top seeds,” Shapiro said as he and Golden shared their thoughts on what a win by the Falcons could mean moving forward in regards to entering national conversations for top teams around the NFL
“It separates you. Four and three and five and two is a world of difference,” Golden added as they both agreed a Falcons loss ahead of their rematch with the Buccaneers could shift the direction of the Falcons’ season. “If you lose, you go to Tampa and you’re four and three, you’re going to be an underdog against Baker Mayfield and the best offense in the NFL so far and if you lose that everything changes,” Shapiro said.
