The Atlanta Falcons (4-4) will travel to Arlington, TX to face off with NFC East Division leading Dallas Cowboys (6-2) this weekend in what could be a key game for both teams in determining playoff seeding.

If the Falcons can pull off a second consecutive road victory (27-25 vs New Orleans week 9), and move about .500 on the season, many will predict that the Dirty Birds will position themselves nicely for a potential playoff opportunity.

But before we start counting wins, the Falcons will have to defeat a Cowboys squad coming off an upset loss to the Denver Broncos (30-16).

And according to Dallas Cowboys blogger RJ Ochoa the Cowboys, who joined Ready or Mott this weekend the Cowboys “can be had on defense.”

RJ elaborated when talking about the Cowboys struggles on defense by saying, “they are just an average defense that has managed to take advantage turnovers at times” in describing how the Cowboys have won several close games in route to their 6-2 start.

So will the Falcons be able to take advantage of the Cowboys struggles?

QB Matt Ryan who led the Falcons out to a huge lead against the Cowboys in last year’s contest, only to see the Cowboys fight back and win a narrow contest 40-39 at Mercedes Benz Stadium, will be looking to get revenge and lead the Dirty Birds to a victory.

In order to do so, the Falcons will need to play clean football and definitely not turn the ball over to the high powered Cowboys offense led by a once again healthy Dak Prescott.

But we will see what happens when the two teams kickoff Sunday at 1 pm
