Former LSU head coach Ed Orgeron is a proud man ahead of Super Bowl LVI. During an interview with TMZ Sports, Orgeron was asked about his former players Ja'Marr Chase and Joe Burrow. Coach O expressed how proud he is of both of them and is pulling for the Bengals to win it all on Sunday.

"Proud of Joe," Ed said outside an S.B. party at Academy in L.A. "But, you know what, Joe meant a lot to LSU. Him and Ja’Marr and all those players, we're very proud of them."
The Bengals are four-point underdogs heading into Super Bowl Sunday, but according to Orgeron, that's just how Burrow likes it.
"He's been an underdog all his life," Orgeron said. "Just like I’ve been and fought. He likes being an underdog.
I mean if there is anyone that knows what BUrrow and Chase can do on the biggest stage, it would be Orgeron. The 60-year-old coached both players during LSU's cinderella run to an undefeated season and the 2020 National Championship.
As to whether or not Orgeron thinks the Bengals will hoist the Lombardi, coach is pretty confident that if not on Sunday, Burrow will eventually win a ring in the NFL.
"He’s eventually gone do it," said Ed. "He may do it this Sunday. I hope he does. He’s got all the talent in the world."
The interview wrapped up with coach O saying he will be in Los Angeles on Sunday and believes this is only the beginning for Burrow and the Bengals.
"I think this is only the beginning for him, I think he’s going to have a great career in Cincinnati."
Orgeron reminds me of that proud dad who is happy to see all the work he and others put into his kids come to full fruition.
The big game festivities kick off Sunday at 6:30 PM EST on NBC.
