On Thursday, ESPN’s Pete Thamel reported Georgia Tech offensive coordinator, Buster Faulkner is expected to take on the same role with the Florida Gators despite reports the Yellow Jackets were willing to match Florida’s offer to Faulkner.
“That’s a huge move for Buster Faulkner,” 92-9 The Game’s Steak Shapiro said on Thursday as he and Mike Bell reacted to the Faulkner reports and shared their thoughts on the impact Faulkner’s departure may have on the Georgia Tech offense.
“Georgia Tech has a major challenge on their hands to maintain a level at the top of the ACC because this was the year the window was there,” Shapiro said. “So now, Brent Key taking some hits,” Shapiro continued as he expressed his thoughts on Faulkner’s move from Georgia Tech to Florida.
