As the 2020 College football season continues more games each week seem to be getting postponed or cancelled due to Covid. The guys on Dukes & Bell talked about why this is happening and asked the question has the 2020 College Football season been compromised?
Carl talked about the season and wondered if it’s simply been one big money grab.
“The more I thought about this and this money grab of college football that’s going on the more I realized the integrity of the season is shot and we should just call it over.” Dukes said “You’re going to tell me that Ohio State that’s going to play at a maximum of seven games because of the cancellations in the Big Ten deserve to be in the College Football playoff. You’re going to tell me that last week after 15 games were postponed or cancelled, that four SEC games, featuring three of the nation’s top five teams, that’s ok, we don’t care if they play those games.”
“This is a joke, it’s a joke now because you as a college football fan don’t believe in the integrity of a schedule, you as a college football fan are ready to argue that team’s better. You’re not buying BYU, you’re not telling me Cincinnati deserves to be national champions, even know they’re running their schedule. But look at their schedule, look at the games that have been cancelled, this was a mistake and now we just have to own up to it.”
