There is NOTHING I like more than a good old NBA feud. We’re talking Joel Embiid vs KAT, Nick Young vs. D'Angelo Russell, or Harden vs. Dwight Howard.

But I’ve never seen a feud between brothers before, until Monday night.

During a game where the Denver Nuggets were beating the snot out of the Miami Heat, Markieff Morris put a hard elbow into Nikola Jokic’s back and as he walked away, Jokic straight up body checked Morris HARD and laid him OUT to the point where he was rolling on the floor in pain.

Chaos on the floor ensued with lots of pushing and shoving and yelling. Both Jokic and Morris got ejected.

And then Jimmy Butler got in the mix.

For those not adept at lip reading, Jimmy Buckets said: “Bring yo ass to the back, bring that shit to the back, right now! Right now!”

Jimmy Butler basically challenged the entire Nuggets bench to a fight.

Things did not calm down at ALL during the post game pressers.

Eric Spoelstra went IN on Jokic:

“That was a very dangerous and dirty play. Keef took a foul, and it was one of those fastbreak take fouls, and he did with his shoulder. You might deem that maybe as a little bit more than just slapping somebody, but after watching it on film, it was a take foul. That’s how I saw it. And the play after, that’s just absolutely uncalled for.”

You never see Spo saying stuff like that.

Jokic responded in his post game:

“I thought it was a dirty foul, a dirty shot. Me and Bam were fighting the whole night. It was a nice fight. I think you can play fair and still play aggressive and fight with your guy. But I thought it was a little over the edge. That’s why I reacted.  I am not supposed to react that way, but I need to protect myself.”

If you thought waking up this morning would see cooler heads prevail? You’re wrong.

What we got instead was a tag team match as somehow, some way Jokic’s brothers got involved. Creating a BRAND NEW twitter account just to get into a social beef with the Morris twins and then just followed one person: Jamal Murray. They don’t even have an AVI, just a Twitter egg.

If you thought the Morris twins would let that slide, you don’t know their reputation at all. These are a couple of dogs.

Markieff’s twin brother Marcus Morris hopped on Twitter and said:

This tweet was the reason that the Jokic Bros created a twitter in the first place. They tweeted this:

And even signed the tweet like your grandmother might do.

I mean this is like WWE. So many threats, so many allusions to violence. And you think any of this is fake? Nuggets reporter Mike Singer tweeted this.

Just got a text from Jokic’s brother. This is their real account responding to Marcus Morris’s tweet last night.

Yep. So when Marcus Morris tweeted:

“You got the right ones believe that!”

And the Jokic Bros responded:

I don’t believe that I know that

You know we got real beef on our hands. Because nobody in their right mind picks a fight with a pack of brothers from a war torn Balkan country.

And of course, we couldn’t have a real beef without Shannon Sharpe and the Undisputed boys getting murdered on social.

Shannon Sharpe said “Jokic has the right to protect himself.”

And Marcus Morris tweeted this:

There is SO MUCH tea in the streets and I love it.

Markieff Morris got the last word in:

Things might have gotten out of hand were it not for the timely intervention of a third Morris.

Balkan brothers don’t scare the Morris Twins, but you know who does?

Momma Morris.

Don’t think this bad blood is going away though. The next time these two teams square up? It’s going to be must see NBA TV.
