Dallas Goedert has quietly been one of the more productive tight ends in the NFL.

Howie Roseman doesn’t think he should be flying under the radar.

Goedert has kept the tight end position productive for the Eagles post-Zach Ertz, reeling in 56 of his 76 targets last season for a career-high 830 yards with four touchdowns. While he might not be in the Travis Kelce/Mark Andrews world of pass-catching tight ends, he’s a legitimate weapon.

The Eagles made a huge upgrade in the passing game this offseason with the addition of A.J. Brown, who will get the attention of each team’s top cornerback. DeVonta Smith should take a big step this offseason, and that should only further open things up for Goedert.

Appearing Tuesday on “Angelo Cataldi and the Morning Team”, the Eagles general manager said he thinks people are sleeping on Goedert.

“The beautiful thing is when we look at those guys, they all kind of compliment each other,” Roseman said. “The guy I think we're all sleeping on. – and it’s so funny because I was thinking about this last night and I’m like I’ve got to go talk to this guy today because of how excited I am for him this year – is Dallas Goedert.

“I understand it, everyone is excited about A.J., I’m excited about AJ Brown, DeVonta Smith in his second year, and Jalen (Hurts) and our offensive line. But this guy is another physical freak, this guy really can do everything you’re looking for from the tight end position. He's really come into his own, his work ethic (is great). I think he’s one of the guys that we haven’t really talked about enough about how good of a player he is and how good he is for our football team.”

Last season, PFF graded Goedert second among tight ends, behind Andrews and tied with George Kittle. If the Eagles can continue to get top-five tight end play from Goedert and Brown stars as expected, Philly's air attack will be a tough one to stop.
