Joe Burrow did the unthinkable Sunday afternoon, going into a hostile environment at Arrowhead Stadium, and was able to knock off the Kansas City Chiefs to head to the Super Bowl in only his second year in the NFL. After the win, many fans were showering praise towards the young gunslinger, including Ohio State fans.

Burrow was a Buckeye for three seasons where he spent most of his time on the pine, sitting behind J.T. Barrett and later on Dwayne Haskins. After throwing just 11 passes in his sophomore year, and Haskins looking like the next big thing (at least at the time), Burrow decided to pack his bags and transfer to LSU.
In his two years at LSU, Burrow became a Tiger and college football legend. Burrow played in 28 games, compiling a record of 25-3 and 15-0 in his senior season when he threw for over 5,600 yards and 60 touchdowns en route to the National Championship and a Heisman Trophy.
So technically Burrow is an Ohio State quarterback, but according to the man himself, it's not where you start, it's where you finish. Here is Burrow's full quote that was dug up from his college days and was shared by arguably the most famous LSU alum ever, Shaquille O'Neal
Don't worry Ohio State fans, Burrow still has a lot of love for the program. Last Wednesday, Joe cool had some very kind words to say about his time in Colombus.
“I wouldn’t be the same player that I am today without those trials and tribulations that I went through there,” he said. “I loved my time there and I stay in contact with a lot of people from Ohio State and, like I said, I wouldn’t be the same player. I think I am who I am because of the difficult times that I went through in my career.”
Here are a few reactions from people on Twitter who laughed at the notion that Burrow is an Ohio State Quarterback and some of the Buckeye faithful who were claiming him as 'their guy.'
While it seems Burrow has love for both LSU and Ohio State, it's clear that he will be remembered more for his time in Baton Rouge over his time in Columbus. Like what they say in SEC country, 'it just means more,' and for LSU fans, Burrow will forever be remembered as one of the best athletes to ever step foot on campus.
