(670 The Score) Three games into their season, the Bears benched quarterback Mitchell Trubisky and replaced him with Nick Foles
The move came early in the third quarter at Atlanta on Sunday. The Bears trailed 26-10 at the time of the decision, with Trubisky having thrown an interception on their previous drive.
Trubisky was 13-of-22 for 128 yards, one touchdown and the interception prior to being benched. It was Foles' first appearance for the Bears, who acquired him from the Jaguars in March in exchange for a fourth-round pick.
Trubisky won a quarterback competition against Foles in training camp to retain his starting spot for a fourth season.
