Tyreek Hill is ready to take on the fastest man in the world.
The Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver challenged eight-time Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt to a race on Thursday after Bolt appeared to be talking smack about Hill during an appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show.”
McAfee brought up some of the speedsters in the NFL and mentioned Hill, which led Bolt to explain a backstory of how the two met each other and “got into it.”
“We’re sitting down and we’re talking and he’s saying how he could take me,” Bolt said. “He was talking ‘blah, blah, blah’ but then I went to the combine one year…I ran 4.22 in my sweats and some street shoes.
“Come on, Tyreek Hill. You got no chance. None whatsoever.”

Bolt indeed ran a 4.22 two years ago, which is the fastest 40-time ever recorded.
Hill did not run the 40 at the combine before being drafted, but did run a 4.29 at his Pro Day.
However, Hill was not going to just let Bolt trash-talk him like that.
The wide receiver called out Bolt on Twitter to “line up and stop hiding.”
Bolt, of course, may be a little past his prime. But could he still hold his own against an NFL receiver in Hill?
It would certainly be compelling television if it were to happen. Here’s to hoping maybe after this season that is a race we will get.
