Tom Brady created a buzz last week when he said on HBO’s “The Shop” that he could not believe a certain NFL team was “sticking with that motherf---er” instead of pursuing him in free agency.

Since that comment, everyone has been trying to figure out which team Brady was talking about.

Well, it appears as if we could eliminate the Chicago Bears as one of the possibilities.

According to Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk, multiple sources “with direct knowledge of the situation” claim that Brady was not referring to the Bears, who started last season with Mitchell Trubisky as their quarterback.

Trubisky, who is now with the Buffalo Bills, never lived up to expectations as the No. 2 overall pick and was coming off a disappointing 2019 campaign.

Many people believed Brady was referring to Trubisky and the Bears, particularly FS1 host Colin Cowherd being the most vocal about it.

Others point toward the San Francisco 49ers and Jimmy Garoppolo, whom the Patriots had traded away after drafting him to potentially replace Brady in New England.

Yet, Brady also added that the team showed interest early before dropping out of the race in the latter stages.

Other possibilities include the Rams, Chargers, Titans and Raiders — although the Chargers drafted Justin Herbert and the Titans extended Ryan Tannehill.

Jared Goff had led the Rams to a Super Bowl in 2018, losing to Brady and the Patriots, while the Raiders stuck with Derek Carr, who has never played a playoff game in his career.

With the Bears reportedly out of the equation, the mystery continues on which team and quarterback Brady was ripping.
