Week three of the 2024 fantasy football season is underway, and at least one team did not disappoint! Congratulations if you had any New York Jets in your starting lineups this Thursday, and for those who started Rhamondre Stevenson, better days are surely ahead, although after his next game where he pops, you may consider trading him.
As for the rest of the slate of games this week: A lot of chalky matchups for your quarterbacks, so most of the guys that you drafted to start should remain in your lineups, with the exception of Anthony Richardson and Justin Herbert, who both have tough matchups. Consider starting Saints QB Derek Carr or Lions QB Jared Goff instead. As for the running back position, it looks like another pop week for Seahawks RB Zach Charbonnet, as Kenneth Walker III is still listed as doubtful for the Seahawks matchup vs the Miami Dolphins. In a feature I am calling “poop or get off the pot”, I tell you about some running backs that were drafted to be a productive fantasy asset for you, but haven’t really performed as such through the first two weeks. Now, a few running backs that fall in to this category, such as Raiders running back Zamir White, have plus matchups that where if they don’t perform for your team, may have to find a seat on the bench. There are several wide receivers that are getting opportunities in week three due to injury, such as 49ers WR Jauan Jennings that you can fire up, and will probably out-perform some of the wide receivers with negative matchups, such as Browns WR Amari Cooper. I run through the entire list of week 3 Fire and Ice players for you right here.
