Week 4 is here! That's almost 1/5 of the season down, but a lot of fantasy football goodness to go. Thursday Night Football was a bit of a snoozer, but Ceedee Lamb finally showed up to pay off that top 5 draft pick, and a couple of Giants receivers showed that they will be able to be counted on for the foreseeable future. One problem did arise though, rookie wideout Malik Nabers ended up in concussion protocol, which will put his week 5 at risk.
Speaking of risk, I have three running backs that had great matchups last week, but still failed to perform, and may find themselves on the end of my bench. Frustrated with the Travis Kelce production thus far? You are not the only one! But he is also not the only TE that is underperforming, there are quite a few that have not yet paid off the preseason hype. Since when is Sam Darnold a valuable fantasy commodity? We've actually seen this before. In 2021, Sam Darnold started the season as QB #5 through four games, then floundered for the rest of the season. Is Sam Darnold a weekly starter? No, not yet anyway, but he is a decent starter in a good matchup, and has one this week vs the Green Bay Packers.
