NFL analyst Mark Schlereth ruffled some feathers earlier this week after calling the Eagles-Commanders game on Sunday. Some Philadelphia fans weren’t happy with his analysis and they let Schlereth hear it.

Schlereth fired back at Philadelphia fans on his Audacy original podcast “Stinkin Truth” this week.

“I played enough against Philadelphia. I’ve been around Philadelphia enough. I’ve done enough stuff over the years both with ESPN and now with FOX with Philadelphia fans,” Schlereth said (2:25 in player above). “So no, I am not at all rattled. As a matter of fact, I like it. I like the hate.”

Eagles fans weren’t happy with how biased Schlereth was during the 38-31 win in Washinton on Sunday. Schlereth won Super Bowl XXVI with Washington early on in his career and went on to win two more in Denver.

“If what you say to me is ‘The broadcast was horrendous. You’re awful. It’s too X’s and O’s. Plus you were so biased,’ you didn’t hear the game you wanted to hear,” he said. “I don’t get paid to talk about the game you want to hear. I get paid to cover the game in front of me.

“And if you’re throwing at me, especially a media member, that I was biased in my broadcast then you’re a candy-a– b—h, and you know exactly who I’m talking about. That’s exactly what you are.

‘I didn’t get to hear the game I wanted to hear. He’s horrible at what he does. He’s the worst ever.’ You’re a candy-a– b—h, that’s what you are. I can’t help you if you didn’t get to hear the game that you wanted to hear. Sorry, I’m not sorry.”

The Birds will battle against another NFC East rival this week as they host the Cowboys at 4:25 p.m. at Lincoln Financial Field.
