ESPN's Adam Schefter was the first to report Monday that three-time All-Pro DeAndre Hopkins is facing a six-game suspension for a failed performance-enhancing drug test, which the league has since confirmed.
While we're still waiting on more specifics from Hopkins, the failed test could very well tarnish the legacy of one of the greatest wide receivers of this era.

In nine seasons spent with the Houston Texas and Arizona Cardinals, Hopkins has recorded 789 receptions for 10,581 yards and 68 touchdowns, pretty remarkable production when you consider some of the quarterbacks he played with prior to Kyler Murray.
It's not a stretch at all to say that Hopkins' career has been on a Hall of Fame trajectory to this point. It will be interesting to see if being linked to PEDs eventually prevents Hopkins from being enshrined in the Hall of Fame, as it has for a slew of otherwise deserving former MLB stars.
