On Tuesday, the McDonald’s All American Games final rosters were announced and Sprayberry guard, Flau’jae Johnson, is the lone Georgia high school player that was selected to the final roster. Johnson, a 5’10” guard, is an LSU commit and is ranked No. 6 at her position according to ESPNW’s Hoopgurlz.
Last season, helped lead the Yellow Jackets to a 21-6 overall record, winning the region title and advancing to the second round of the Georgia High School Association state playoffs. This year, the Sprayberry is off to a 12-5 start and currently 10-0 in the region standings. Johnson recently dropped 40 points when the Yellow Jackets knocked off then No. 1 and region rival Kell. The McDonald’s All American Game returns to live action in Chicago on March 29, 2022.
