Georgia State University's Center Parc Stadium hosted Alcorn State versus North Carolina Central in an HBCU matchup to kick off the the college football season.
ESPN's College Game Day was there in full force in front of Center Parc Stadium and, throughout the day, tv watchers were treated to beautiful shots of Georgia State's hidden gem in Atlanta.
The exposure was good for Georgia State, Atlanta, and most importantly the HBCU's involved in the game.
Can we please make this a yearly tradition? An HBCU matchup at Center Parc Stadium in week zero with ESPN's College Game Day highlighting the matchup. Maybe Jackson State with Coach Sanders next year? One can only hope.
