SEC Media Days will be held in Atlanta, GA beginning next Monday July 18 through Thursday July 21 at the College Football Hall of Fame in downtown Atlanta.
Preseason rankings and all conference teams will be announced over the next several weeks and teams will open fall practice as they prepare for the opening weekend of action in early September.
As part of their continuous ongoing coverage of college football, The Midday Show with Andy & Randy compiled their list of the players each host believes will be the Top-10 overall players in the Southeastern Conference for the upcoming 2022 season.
Both Andy & Randy agreed that Alabama QB, and 2021 Heisman Trophy Winner Bryce Young will once again be the best overall player in the SEC in 2022.
Other players that both guys agree should have top caliber seasons in 2022 were:
DE Will Anderson (ALA), TE Brock Bowers (UGA), DL Jalen Carter (UGA), and RB Tank Bigsby (AUB)
Randy finished his list with QB KJ Jefferson (ARK), QB Will Levis (UK), QB Anthony Richardson (FLA), DB AJ Finley, and DB Kelee Ringo (UGA) .
While, Andy included LB Nolan Smith (UGA), DE BJ Ojulari (LSU), LB Bumper Pool (ARK), RB Jahmyr Gibbs (ALA) and WR Kayshon Boutte (LSU).
When the season is complete in early December we will see which of the players have the award winning type seasons Andy & Randy predict.
