“This is a big free agency summer for the Atlanta Hawks,” were the words of Atlanta Journal Constitution, Atlanta Hawks beat reporter, Lauren Williams as she joined 92-9 The Game’s Jon Chuckery on Tuesday night to discuss the Hawks and what potential moves they could consider making during the offseason. Williams comments came as she and the evening host discussed whether the Hawks would look to improve their roster via free agency or by moving some players by trade with John Collins being the focal point of Chuckery’s statement.

“If we’re going to trade John Collins or anybody that we trade, I don’t care if it’s Capela, De’Andre Hunter, you want something back in value of return because we’re trying to turn the corner and become a legitimate playoff team,” Chuckery says to Williams, who acknowledged that she agreed with his statement due to the fact that what Atlanta would want to command in a trade for Collins would be challenging. “We can argue that John Collins maybe upped his value a little bit in those final couple of playoff games that we saw the Hawks play in at the end of the season, but it’s still very hard,” Williams responded.
