A standoff is underway between law enforcement and an armed domestic violence suspect barricaded inside a home in Chatsworth.
Deputies with the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department responded to the home on Thompson Ave. around 2 a.m. Fox 11 reported that when deputies arrived, the suspect began shooting at them as well as the domestic violence victim.
That victim has been safely rescued from the home, but the suspect is still armed with multiple guns.
Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department are assisting.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
