LOS ANGELES (KNX) — A fire damaged a two-story home Monday morning in Sherman Oaks, but no one was injured.
The fire was reported around 5:40 a.m. in the 5400 block North nagle Avenue, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Nagle said it took 81 firefighters an hour and 12 minutes to extinguish the flames.
“The home appears to either be newly built or undergoing renovations and is not occupied,” Stewart said.
Firefighters remained on scene Monday morning to continue to overhaul any remaining smoldering areas, she said.
Arson investigators responded to the scene, Stewart added.
