The Los Angeles Police Department is set to announce Tuesday a $50,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction of the suspects in a murder that took place over a year ago.

City Councilmember Kevin de León introduced a motion to fund a reward, and it was approved by the council, according to The Eastsider LA.

Reza Seyed Mousavi, 36, was shot and killed in the 4800 block of East Huntington Dr. on Oct. 28, 2020.

“The suspect is a possible male Hispanic, but he was wearing a mask,” LAPD Detective Eric Obrecht said. “He was wearing a blue Dodgers hoodie, dark blue pants and dark shoes with possible oversized white shoelaces.”

A possible motive has not yet been revealed.
